Calloway knows about Bud because he knew who Bud's mom was so he knows who Bud-not-buddy is. #2 I think Bud considers the possessions inside of the suitcase more important than the suitcase because the things inside had something to do with his mom. #3 Happy because he likes owning something new. #4 I think Bud loves the new nickname he is given because in the book it described how big the smile is on his face.
