Ahmad Shah Massoud was an Afghan political and military leader, who was a central figure in the resistance against the Soviet occupation between 1979 and 1989 and in the following years of civil war. He was assassinated on September 9, 2001,This Assassination was a hard blow to the allies,making it one less connection they have to the people of afghanistan.

  19. Leo Tolstoy, the famous author was born on September 9th 104 years ago. He was born in Yasnaya Polyana, Russia. He is a famous writer, philosopher, and a political leader. He wrote both novels and picture books. His novels were made into plays and movies. I want to read one of his books someday.

Today is the day that Korea was free.At 1950, Korea was controlled by Japanese.Japan was controlling Korea for population expansion.But Korean population started to flunked from 1948.So they had to take the fight for population.So they started to do a revolution over Japan.The fight start at 1950 and ended at 1958.At 1958 the Japanese fled Korean.

It split the Austrailian Habsburg lands. The last one is Elvis Presley appeared on the Ed Sullivan show for the first time in 1956.

  22. The Serpent defeated in one of the greatest naval battles of the Viking Age. Also Mary Stuart was crowned queen. today the 1st steam engine came to US colonies. The president named Hayes visited San Francisco.

  26. The new I phone 6 has come out, my dad has probably skipped work to get it. He has a contract that every time a new I Phone comes out. I get to have his old Phone when he gets a new one. The power lock has been moved from the top to the right side.

  27. September 9, 1913 there was an airplane disaster! That airplane had 20 passengers on board. That airplane flew on a strong storm crashing 20 miles north into the sea. The airplane broke. The airplane immediately sank. The 14/20 passengers drowned.
